This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the design and implementation of training programs across the enterprise, including complex and high-stakes initiatives.
• Guide and mentor junior instructional designers, contributing to the overall development of the team.
• Foster innovation in instructional design through the creation of video and eLearning modules.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to develop scalable and impactful learning experiences.
• Manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Design and create instructional materials for eLearning, virtual classrooms, and instructor-led training sessions.
• Conduct needs assessments in partnership with SMEs to define learning objectives.
• Develop storyboards, course content, and assessments that align with organizational goals.
• Ensure that training materials are engaging, visually appealing, and accessible to all learners.
• Facilitate course delivery when necessary, particularly during Trainer the Trainer sessions and the introduction of new courses, while monitoring early feedback for course enhancement.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in instructional design, training, and learning and development.
• Expertise in advanced instructional design techniques, principles, models, and eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
• Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and LMS integrations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for developing training manuals and procedures.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and learners.
• Presentation skills for training and educating employees.
• Proficient in personal computer and business solutions software.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Good multimedia and desktop software skills for designing training materials.
• Project management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Skill in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
