Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create and develop captivating instructional materials for eLearning, virtual classrooms, and instructor-led training sessions.

• Perform needs assessments and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives.

• Design storyboards, course content, and assessments that align with the goals of the organization.

• Ensure that training materials are interactive, visually engaging, and accessible to all learners.

• Continuously enhance instructional design processes and methodologies.

• Facilitate course delivery when necessary, especially during Train the Trainer sessions and the launch of new courses.

• Oversee the effective delivery of new training materials and gather initial feedback for course enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification.

• 3-5 years of experience in instructional design.

• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).

• Strong understanding of instructional design models and principles.

• Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Excellent communication skills for the development of training manuals and procedures.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with team members and learners.

• Presentation skills necessary for training and educating employees.

• Proficient in personal computer and business solutions software.

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Competence in multi-media and desktop software for designing training materials.

• Project management skills are essential.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Capacity to quickly absorb large volumes of information and distill it into teachable segments.
