This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with the instructional design team, subject matter experts, and project managers throughout the development of video courses.
• Organize and carry out video shoots, which includes scouting locations and directing sessions.
• Capture high-quality video and audio recordings.
• Set up and manage cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Oversee the casting and coordination of principal talent, background performers, and voice actors.
• Edit video and audio content, incorporating graphics, closed captioning, and special effects.
• Manage video libraries and support distribution strategies across various platforms.
• Work alongside clients and stakeholders to develop creative concepts, storyboards, and scripts.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement data-driven enhancements.
• Transform existing instructional materials into microlearning video formats.
• Collect data on training needs and content for training materials and programs.
• Review procedures and guidelines to ensure that materials align with learning objectives.
• Identify advancements in online video learning technology and propose enhancements.
• Maintain and ensure appropriate usage of video production equipment.
• Oversee all aspects of video production from filming to editing, meeting high standards.
• Upload new training components into the learning management system for The UPS Store franchise network.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production, Visual Communications, Journalism, Media Production, Digital Media, or a similar field is preferred.
• Experience in developing corporate training video content and/or materials.
• At least 2+ years of experience in video production and editing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Expertise in video cameras, lighting, audio recording, and video editing software.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Candidates must reside within the San Diego area due to project requirements.
