This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Assists in the creation, enhancement, development, and execution of educational products for the organization.
• Develops and implements programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and Nightingale College policies, as well as best practices.
• Works closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), faculty members, and other partners to design and create educational opportunities for faculty and collaborators.
• Identifies the appropriate instructional design methods, media selection, and facilitation styles for the implementation of organizational interventions and solutions.
• Creates supportive materials aimed at improving performance enhancement strategies.
• Ensures alignment of new and existing course content with effective instructional methods, including instructor-led, e-learning, and blended formats.
• Keeps abreast of current trends and research in nursing and healthcare professions curriculum or professional development related to online teaching and learning practices.
• Designs and implements the assembly, creation, and packaging of online courses within the Learning Management System (LMS) and authoring tools, in collaboration with both internal and external subject matter experts.
• Develops and refines assessments, scoring guides, and curriculum.
• Engages in the successful execution of other functional projects as they arise.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• A Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field and two years of pertinent experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant specialization and four years of applicable experience.
• At least two years of experience in developing courses using LMS and authoring tools is essential.
• Proven experience in designing assessments for distance learning environments is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of concept-based, competency-based, project-based, and other learning design models is necessary.
• Proven experience collaborating on learning design systems involving multiple stakeholders and requirements is essential.
• A minimum of three years of experience in gathering and utilizing peer-reviewed scholarly research and user research is preferred.
• Background in Nursing/Allied Health/Health Sciences Education is preferred.
• Experience in micro-credentialing is preferred.
