This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create, develop, and sustain engaging and effective learning programs that enhance performance and achieve business outcomes.
• Oversee the complete instructional design process for intricate, high-impact learning initiatives from needs analysis to evaluation.
• Design learning ecosystems that utilize social, experiential, and digital reinforcement in accordance with the 70/20/10 model.
• Implement Action Mapping and performance consulting methods to foster measurable behavior change.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, frontline leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Convert business objectives into learning strategies, identify performance gaps, and clarify instructional trade-offs.
• Create assessments and evaluation plans, analyzing results across Kirkpatrick Levels 1–3.
• Contribute to content governance, peer review, instructional design standards, and the upkeep of existing learning programs.
• Utilize Claude/OpenAI and other AI tools to develop and refine asynchronous learning content.
• Produce basic multimedia assets, such as screen recordings, short-form videos, and AI-assisted voiceover content.
• 4–6 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or performance consulting, ideally within a high-growth tech or call center setting.
• A robust portfolio showcasing ownership of complex learning programs across varied instructional modalities.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories, along with practical experience in Action Mapping or performance consulting frameworks.
• Proven hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude/OpenAI) for creating asynchronous learning content; builder-level proficiency preferred.
• Effective project management and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the capability to independently manage projects from needs analysis to evaluation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions with Product, Engineering, and Operations while clearly communicating design rationale.
• Dedication to continuous improvement, experimentation, and maintaining high-quality design standards.
• Must be eligible to work from Ontario or British Columbia.
