Installation Service Engineer – MR – Field/Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Initiate and calibrate MR system installations in accordance with factory guidelines and specifications.

• Deliver expert-level installation assistance to the field service team.

• Communicate and escalate any technical problems and delays.

• Ensure installation projects remain on schedule while maintaining quality standards.

• Assess room configurations and the quality of mechanical installations performed by vendors.

• Diagnose and rectify errors made by vendors and the factory.

• Request replacement parts for any missing or damaged items.

• Offer feedback to vendors, factory personnel, project managers, and planning teams.

• Travel with customer-facing stakeholders to client or business partner locations, conferences, or meetings, or visit Siemens Healthineers sites directly.

• Develop a talent pipeline for future job openings; submitting an application does not guarantee immediate employment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in the United States within an hour's drive from a major airport.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in MR installation and service.

• Must be available for overnight travel 100% of the time.

• Weekend work may be necessary.

• Must reside near a major airport.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

• Highly organized, self-sufficient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comprehensive knowledge of a technical or specialized field is required.

• A background check is mandatory.

• A drug screening is required.

• A valid driver's license in the state of residence is necessary.

• No previous DUI/DWI convictions or outstanding DUI/DWI charges or other severe moving violations, unless prohibited by state or local law.

• Must be capable of working with controlled technology in compliance with U.S. export control laws.
