Field Service Technician – Electromechanical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Install and commission sorting equipment at client locations.

• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

• Train operators and maintenance personnel.

• Offer technical expertise and guidance to customers.

• Represent TOMRA in interactions with customers and enhance service quality.

• Prepare for customer visits from home.

• Document service interventions through detailed reports.

• Update and maintain technical documentation.

• Provide remote assistance when necessary.

• Primarily work in Brittany and surrounding areas.

• Occasionally assist colleagues and clients in other regions of France.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at Bac+2 level or above in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing electrical faults and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.

• Proficiency in French.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English within a technical and professional context.

• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of industrial machinery in a customer-centric environment.

• Experience in field-based after-sales service, on-site customer maintenance, commissioning, installation, or technical support in the field is a significant advantage.

• Solid understanding of PC systems, networks, and their configurations.

• Strong orientation towards customer service and exceptional interpersonal abilities.

• A valid Category B driving license is required.
