This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute timely and precise preventative maintenance across one or more equipment modalities.
• Adhere to Field Modification Instructions and Instrument Service Information bulletins.
• Collaborate with seasoned field engineers both onsite and remotely to acquire skills in troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installations.
• Provide support for Ultrasound, X-ray, and other modalities as needed by the business.
• Complete five 8-hour shifts.
• Aid in the installation of equipment.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and service repairs on assigned equipment.
• Communicate and collaborate with teammates, colleagues, and customers to address issues and enhance satisfaction.
• Suggest value-added services to clients.
• Maintain customer service logs, internal service records, order repair parts, and manage cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process and work with regional and national support on corrective action plans.
• Act as a member of the account community for key accounts.
• Engage with commercial counterparts, identify sales leads, participate in contract renewals, and support revenue programs.
• Foster and strengthen customer relationships as a trusted business partner.
• Monitor competitor information and market trends.
• Independently respond to service calls within one year of employment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship, Apprenticeship, or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Suite products.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work after hours or on a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, as necessary.
• Successful completion of GEHC's standard background check and post-offer drug test.
• Compliance with customer access policies, including necessary immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks where applicable.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted.
• Capability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and exhibit good hand and finger dexterity.
• Required vision capabilities may include color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
