Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Visit customer locations to provide service and support.

• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.

• Deliver training to customers on standard Munters equipment.

• Prepare comprehensive field service reports and offer technical insights regarding equipment.

• Engage professionally with customers through face-to-face interactions, written communication, and phone calls.

• Encourage sales and service opportunities for company equipment.

• Safely repair, troubleshoot, and maintain dehumidification equipment for commercial and industrial use.

• Work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC sector, or a combination of relevant work experience and successful completion of HVAC/R vocational training.

• Willingness to travel extensively (80%) and ability to fly as needed.

• Must obtain a CFC Certification within 90 days of employment.

• Familiarity with HVAC/Refrigeration systems and their components.

• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logical Controls) is highly desirable.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential.

• Basic understanding of electrical schematics is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Completion of HVAC school or equivalent program.

• HVAC/R experience specifically in commercial/industrial settings.

• Technical skills or completion of a trade school program.

• Possession of EPA Universal/608 certification.

• Valid CFC License is required.

• Must hold a valid US Driver's License.

• Required to wear necessary personal protective equipment.

• Must be comfortable being away from home for several days at a time.

• Willingness to participate in on-call duties, occasionally work weekends and/or holidays, work outdoors in all weather conditions, work at heights of 6 feet or more, and adhere to safety protocols involving equipment and ladder use.
