This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.
β’ Leads a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) across one or more of the 24 technologies and over 300 products featured in the Dematic Global Catalog.
β’ Provides guidance and direction to the SME team.
β’ Oversees SME contributions to product development, emphasizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP).
β’ Offers overall leadership in product safety and ensures the team focuses on delivering high-quality installations.
β’ Aids product development and implementation teams by ensuring timely delivery.
β’ Monitors efforts related to the costing of new products and their alignment with real-world applications.
β’ Proactively trains and supports project resources, offering feedback to the Resource Team.
β’ Manages SME assistance for Quality, R&D, and Execution teams focusing on improvement suggestions, manufacturing or delivery issues, documentation, costing, installation errors, and necessary training.
β’ Drives the completion of reporting through the internal Dematic process.
β’ Develops and presents product installation training programs.
β’ Coordinates support for customer emergencies related to product issues.
β’ Organizes estimating-group support regarding product-specific impacts on pricing and scheduling.
β’ Collaborates with engineering to standardize execution processes.
β’ Supports training topics for team members, including tools and process standards at project sites.
β’ Coordinates and monitors product installation quality audits.
β’ Facilitates additional training for subcontractors involved in the installation of Dematic and other MHE equipment.
β’ Must be physically capable of navigating construction site environments.
β’ Willingness to travel on short notice, with up to 75% travel time expected.
β’ An Associate's Degree is preferred, or 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and capable of navigating MS Project.
β’ Experienced in Project Management Training or familiar with Project Management Methodologies.
β’ Knowledgeable in Lean Guiding Principles (TIMWOOD - Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing, and Defects).
β’ OSHA training or certification is preferred.
β’ Availability to work weekends as necessary.
β’ Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
β’ Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration is required.
β’ Strong planning and coordination abilities with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and capable of navigating MS Project.
β’ Experienced in Project Management Training or familiar with Project Management Methodologies.
β’ OSHA training or certification is preferred.
