Installation Manager, Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Leads a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) across one or more of the 24 technologies and over 300 products featured in the Dematic Global Catalog.

• Provides guidance and direction to the SME team.

• Oversees SME contributions to product development, emphasizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP).

• Offers overall leadership in product safety and ensures the team focuses on delivering high-quality installations.

• Aids product development and implementation teams by ensuring timely delivery.

• Monitors efforts related to the costing of new products and their alignment with real-world applications.

• Proactively trains and supports project resources, offering feedback to the Resource Team.

• Manages SME assistance for Quality, R&D, and Execution teams focusing on improvement suggestions, manufacturing or delivery issues, documentation, costing, installation errors, and necessary training.

• Drives the completion of reporting through the internal Dematic process.

• Develops and presents product installation training programs.

• Coordinates support for customer emergencies related to product issues.

• Organizes estimating-group support regarding product-specific impacts on pricing and scheduling.

• Collaborates with engineering to standardize execution processes.

• Supports training topics for team members, including tools and process standards at project sites.

• Coordinates and monitors product installation quality audits.

• Facilitates additional training for subcontractors involved in the installation of Dematic and other MHE equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be physically capable of navigating construction site environments.

• Willingness to travel on short notice, with up to 75% travel time expected.

• An Associate's Degree is preferred, or 5 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and capable of navigating MS Project.

• Experienced in Project Management Training or familiar with Project Management Methodologies.

• Knowledgeable in Lean Guiding Principles (TIMWOOD - Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing, and Defects).

• OSHA training or certification is preferred.

• Availability to work weekends as necessary.

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

• Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration is required.

• Strong planning and coordination abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and capable of navigating MS Project.

• Experienced in Project Management Training or familiar with Project Management Methodologies.

• OSHA training or certification is preferred.
