This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.
β’ Supervise the team responsible for installation training and tools while providing guidance to subject matter experts.
β’ Oversee SME support for product development, concentrating on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP).
β’ Lead product safety initiatives and ensure installations are executed with a focus on quality and accuracy from the outset.
β’ Assist product development and implementation teams to ensure timely delivery.
β’ Monitor efforts for cost analysis of new products and ensure alignment with practical applications.
β’ Educate and support project resources while offering feedback to the Resource Team.
β’ Manage SME support for Quality, R&D, and Execution teams concerning improvement proposals, manufacturing or delivery issues, documentation, cost assessments, installation mistakes, and necessary training.
β’ Facilitate the completion of required training reports through the internal Dematic process.
β’ Create and conduct training related to product installations.
β’ Organize support for customer emergencies related to products.
β’ Assist the estimating team with project-specific pricing and schedule implications linked to product expertise.
β’ Collaborate with engineering to standardize execution processes.
β’ Support training-related topics, including tools and process standards at project sites.
β’ Organize and oversee quality audits for product installations.
β’ Coordinate additional training for subcontractors involved in the installation of Dematic and other MHE equipment.
β’ Must be physically capable of navigating construction site environments.
β’ Willingness to travel on short notice, with up to 75% of time spent traveling.
β’ An Associate's Degree is preferred or at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and capable of navigating MS Project.
β’ Familiarity with Project Management Training or methodologies.
β’ Understanding of Lean Guiding Principles (TIMWOOD - Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing, and Defects).
β’ OSHA training or certification is preferred.
β’ Availability to work weekends as required.
β’ Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
β’ Knowledge of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration is necessary.
β’ Strong planning and coordination skills, with a keen attention to detail.
