Installation Manager – Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise the team responsible for installation training and tools while providing guidance to subject matter experts.

• Oversee SME support for product development, concentrating on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP).

• Lead product safety initiatives and ensure installations are executed with a focus on quality and accuracy from the outset.

• Assist product development and implementation teams to ensure timely delivery.

• Monitor efforts for cost analysis of new products and ensure alignment with practical applications.

• Educate and support project resources while offering feedback to the Resource Team.

• Manage SME support for Quality, R&D, and Execution teams concerning improvement proposals, manufacturing or delivery issues, documentation, cost assessments, installation mistakes, and necessary training.

• Facilitate the completion of required training reports through the internal Dematic process.

• Create and conduct training related to product installations.

• Organize support for customer emergencies related to products.

• Assist the estimating team with project-specific pricing and schedule implications linked to product expertise.

• Collaborate with engineering to standardize execution processes.

• Support training-related topics, including tools and process standards at project sites.

• Organize and oversee quality audits for product installations.

• Coordinate additional training for subcontractors involved in the installation of Dematic and other MHE equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be physically capable of navigating construction site environments.

• Willingness to travel on short notice, with up to 75% of time spent traveling.

• An Associate's Degree is preferred or at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and capable of navigating MS Project.

• Familiarity with Project Management Training or methodologies.

• Understanding of Lean Guiding Principles (TIMWOOD - Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing, and Defects).

• OSHA training or certification is preferred.

• Availability to work weekends as required.

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

• Knowledge of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration is necessary.

• Strong planning and coordination skills, with a keen attention to detail.
