Installation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Plan and coordinate the installation of tolling system equipment.

• Ensure quality execution and timely completion of onsite activities.

• Lead and supervise Field Services Supervisors, Field Service Technicians, subcontractors, and internal installation teams.

• Coordinate resources and schedules throughout the project lifecycle alongside Project Managers and stakeholders.

• Act as the primary customer liaison for all installation-related activities.

• Develop installation strategies, project installation plans, schedules, resource plans, readiness reviews, and scopes of work for subcontractors.

• Conduct site visits, subcontractor walkthroughs, site acceptance reviews, and assessments for installation readiness.

• Review and interpret electrical and civil drawings, schematics, and design packages.

• Facilitate page-turn reviews with both internal and external teams.

• Manage project inventory, installation documentation, field change tracking, configuration records, checklists, and daily installation updates using JIRA.

• Ensure compliance with Kapsch and customer safety standards.

• Support system integration, functionality, troubleshooting, and repair of tolling system components.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in installation, managing multiple teams.

• Experience in construction scheduling.

• High School diploma and/or additional training from a trade or technical school.

• Relevant experience may include RF or Electrical training.

• Practical experience with multi-meters, fiber optic systems, and hand tools.

• Experience with RF or microwave technology is advantageous.

• Willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Availability to travel approximately 75% of the time, depending on project requirements.

• Flexibility to work weekends, night shifts, and extended hours as necessary.

• Prior experience in tolling is preferred.

• Must have working rights in the United States.

• Ability to pass a background check.
