Installation & Maintenance Dispatcher – Fiber Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Organize and schedule daily tasks for installation and maintenance teams.

• Collaborate with clients, field technicians, and various departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Distribute resources according to project priorities and technician availability.

• Receive, evaluate, and prioritize fiber drop installation and maintenance service requests.

• Verify work-order documentation and specifics prior to assigning technicians.

• Act as the main liaison between field teams and management.

• Provide guidance and updates to field technicians.

• Communicate customer requests, feedback, and issues to the appropriate departments.

• Monitor active jobs, technician locations, and work statuses using GPS or tracking applications.

• Track deadlines, update job statuses, and inform about delays or issues.

• Address scheduling conflicts and urgent requests.

• Organize emergency repairs and troubleshooting efforts.

• Maintain records of work orders, job completions, and technician activities.

• Prepare daily operations, productivity, and issue reports for management review.

• Ensure technicians adhere to safety protocols and report any safety concerns or incidents.

• Coordinate tools and materials with inventory management teams.

• Monitor equipment and supplies utilized in fiber drop operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in scheduling, coordination, or dispatching is required.

• Previous experience in the telecommunications or fiber installation/maintenance sector is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in scheduling and work order management software is necessary.

• Familiarity with fiber installation and maintenance procedures is essential.

• Ability to monitor field operations utilizing GPS or tracking systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed for effective coordination across teams.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities are crucial.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting swiftly to urgent requests.

• Experience working with field technicians and clients is required.

• A strong focus on safety and compliance standards is essential.

• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to support critical operations.
