Install & Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Install Smoke Guard products.

• Repair and replace Smoke Guard products.

• Complete and submit daily reports along with warranty work reports.

• Engage in fire inspections, which include testing equipment and providing product documentation to clients.

• Coordinate on-site field activities with other trades, such as electricians, superintendents, and drywall teams.

• Work efficiently to reduce mobilizations and minimize windshield time.

• Attend and actively engage in mandatory safety training sessions at SG Solutions or on project sites.

• Inform management of any issues or potential concerns at job sites and address them as necessary.

• Maintain professional and respectful interactions with Smoke Guard employees, site superintendents, and other personnel.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to acquire comprehensive technical knowledge of Smoke Guard products and perform troubleshooting and repair tasks.

• Proficient in reading building specifications and blueprints.

• Familiarity with the safe operation of basic hand and power tools.

• Capability to identify the appropriate tools and equipment required for each job.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks on time while adhering to quality standards.

• Capacity to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

• Capability to obtain and maintain necessary safety certifications.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Installer, Repair Technician, or in a similar position.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction sector.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Ability to work on active construction sites or within completed buildings.

• Capability to climb ladders, load and unload equipment, and safely operate a company vehicle.

• Willingness to travel regularly within Arizona and up to 30% out-of-state travel.
