Install Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily operations of residential solar installations.

• Coordinate installation schedules, crew assignments, and project priorities.

• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and meet SpartanX quality standards.

• Track installation progress and proactively address field issues.

• Confirm that projects are ready for installation before sending out crews.

• Ensure that installations adhere to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code regulations.

• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop installation teams.

• Perform ride-alongs, site visits, and conduct performance assessments.

• Set productivity expectations and hold teams accountable for meeting performance goals.

• Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and ongoing improvement.

• Assist in workforce planning and allocate manpower effectively.

• Carry out field quality inspections and installation audits.

• Ensure all teams comply with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.

• Identify recurring installation problems and implement corrective measures.

• Minimize callbacks, warranty claims, and installation defects through continuous quality enhancement.

• Collaborate with Scheduling, Service, Electrical, Permitting, Design, Engineering, and Inspections teams.

• Relay project updates and operational challenges to leadership.

• Provide support for service escalations and troubleshooting related to installations.

• Monitor operational KPIs and suggest process improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in residential solar installation is essential.

• Previous leadership or management experience in installation is required.

• Strong knowledge of residential solar construction, roofing, and electrical systems.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire field teams.

• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

• Proficient in mobile technology, project management platforms, and CRM systems.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.

• Prior experience as an Install Manager or Field Operations Manager is preferred.

• NABCEP certification is preferred.

• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

• A background in electrical or roofing work is preferred.

• Experience managing multiple installation crews across various markets is preferred.

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
