This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +4 more states.
• Drive service revenue, enhance customer retention, and promote market growth within a designated portfolio of Siemens Healthineers Lab Diagnostics clients.
• Oversee a substantial customer base with annual responsibilities exceeding $20M in contract bookings and $18M in revenue.
• Create and implement strategic account plans to penetrate and broaden existing accounts.
• Facilitate service contract renewals, Master Service Agreements, warranty conversions, point-of-sale service agreements, and new business initiatives.
• Meet objectives related to account penetration, customer retention, revenue growth, market share, profitability, bookings, renewals, and sales activities.
• Manage a vast and intricate customer portfolio and sales pipeline.
• Identify, cultivate, and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Commercial Field Sales and Service representatives to identify, develop, and finalize service opportunities.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, customer engagement, presentations, quoting, negotiating, contracting, follow-up, and closing.
• Investigate internal systems, customer service history, market conditions, and competitive intelligence to formulate sales strategies, proposals, and pricing.
• Assist in the creation of sales forecasts, budgets, operating plans, and account strategies.
• Lead and engage in territory reviews and forecast meetings.
• Design and deliver tailored phone, video, and on-site presentations.
• Maintain precise CRM records, opportunity documentation, forecasts, customer notes, and sales activities.
• Collaborate with Field Service, Commercial Field Sales, Finance, Legal, Product Management, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and enhance market share while adhering to profitability guidelines.
• Support the training and mentorship of new employees.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, laboratory services, technology, or another complex sales environment.
• Proven success in selling within complex environments and managing large quotas, consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Exceptional consultative selling, prospecting, negotiation, presentation, communication, relationship management, and closing abilities.
• Ability to independently oversee a large and complex book of business, forecast, analyze customer data, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
• Strong organizational, time management, follow-through, and accuracy skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving business conditions.
• Solid business acumen with a demonstrated capacity to think strategically and execute effectively.
• Excellent team orientation, collaboration, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, address business challenges, and achieve measurable outcomes.
• Capacity to learn and comprehend complex products, services, contracts, and business processes.
• Strong CRM discipline and experience in managing a sales pipeline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in full-cycle sales, encompassing Inside Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or related roles.
• Familiarity with selling service contracts, recurring-revenue solutions, warranties, maintenance agreements, or other service offerings.
• Experience with CRM systems and SAP.
• Demonstrated prospecting abilities and capability to develop new business opportunities.
• Professional sales training such as SPIN Selling, Strategic Selling, Professional Selling Skills, Miller-Heiman, COF, or similar methodologies.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for customer visits, training, meetings, and business needs.
• Must fulfill applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may involve valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
• Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control laws.
