Inside Service Agent – Cultural

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Handle service and billing inquiries as well as first notice of loss (FNOL) calls from customers.

• Address customer questions regarding their insurance policies.

• Maintain a strong understanding of Allstate's policies and procedures for the provinces in which you are licensed.

• Deliver tailored insurance services as a Trusted Advisor.

• Highlight Allstate's features and benefits during policy reviews.

• Oversee policy renewals and manage client requests for modifications.

• Respond to online inquiries from clients.

• Foster client loyalty by focusing on details and building relationships during renewals and updates.

• Engage in upselling and cross-selling of Auto and Property products following underwriting guidelines.

• Provide assistance and guidance during FNOL claim calls.

• Record loss information accurately in the claims system.

• Execute designated claims tasks and transfer/assign claims to a Claim Advisor.

• Strive to meet and surpass key performance and attendance targets.

• Report directly to the Manager of Inside Service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary education or relevant work experience is required.

• Must possess an OTL or General level 1 Insurance License or be willing to obtain one for your province.

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of customer service experience is necessary.

• Proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin and English, including speaking, reading, and writing.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications.

• This is a remote position; you should have a suitable workspace for working from home.

• Flexibility to work evenings is required.

• Experience in a call center and in the insurance industry is preferred.

• Availability to work all operational hours, Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 8 pm EST, with rotating schedules.

• The standard work week consists of 37.5 hours.
