This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the expansion of managed account portfolios alongside Outside Sales Representatives.
• Deliver consultative assistance and sustain robust account relationships.
• Offer tailored service and solutions by providing timely and comprehensive quotes and sales orders.
• Address issues and perform post-sale follow-ups throughout the project cycle.
• Foster repeat business by excelling in customer service, accurate quoting, sourcing, and overall project management.
• Aid Outside Sales partners in account growth through both internal and external relationships.
• Conduct post-order follow-ups and rectify any issues or errors.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on quoting, pricing, availability, and issue resolution.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that managed account customers remain the focal point.
• Support customers through issue resolution, after-sale follow-ups, invoice transmission, and quote inquiries.
• Report to a Supervisor and oversee a team of 12 direct reports.
• Typically required to travel overnight 5% to 20% of the time.
• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Knowledge of presentation software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, is required.
• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Proficient in negotiation, complaint handling, dispute resolution, and grievance management with both internal and external customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Prior experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably in home improvement trades, is advantageous.
• Understanding of local building codes and home improvement specifics is preferred.
• Possess a consultative and growth-oriented mindset; ability to promptly respond to customer needs, both internal and external.
• Extensive knowledge of retail systems, including Showroom Point of Sale-Orange Pay, Order Up, My Custom Designs, Volume Pricing Program, Quote Center, Pro Xtra, Credit Services Center, and the Appliance Ordering System.
• A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is necessary.
