This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Facilitate the expansion of the Outside Sales portfolio by delivering exceptional customer service, precise and comprehensive quoting, sourcing, project management, relationship cultivation, post-order follow-up, issue resolution, and ensuring that customer requirements are satisfied.
• Support account management by collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams on quoting, pricing, availability, and resolving issues for high-volume projects.
• Manage assigned account projects from start to finish, maintaining a customer-centric approach throughout the process.
• Provide assistance to both internal and external customers during their journey by resolving issues, following up after sales, transmitting invoices, and processing quote requests.
• Report directly to the Supervisor.
• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to collaborate and effectively engage with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated skills in project management.
• Capable of negotiating, addressing complaints, resolving disputes, and handling grievances with both internal and external customers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales, particularly in home improvement trades.
• Understanding of local building codes, especially related to Home Improvement.
• Possess a consultative and growth-oriented mindset, with the ability to quickly respond to customer needs, both internal and external.
• Extensive knowledge of retail systems, including Showroom Point of Sale-Orange Pay, Order Up, My Custom Designs, Volume Pricing Program, Quote Center, Pro Xtra, Credit Services Center, and the Appliance Ordering System.
• High school diploma and/or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
