This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.
• Build, maintain, and support enduring business relationships with designated customers.
• Execute sales calls and engage in customer communications to foster business growth through new products, ensuring contract compliance and tailored strategic account initiatives.
• Act as the main point of contact for American Health Packaging (AHP).
• Implement programs across a specified geographic region and/or account base to optimize product pull-through and distribution while reducing service-level concerns.
• Conduct proactive outreach to customers to enhance sales revenue and fortify customer relationships.
• Engage in pre- and post-call research and planning, set interaction goals, and anticipate customer requirements.
• Achieve or surpass monthly sales and activity targets, which include call volume, revenue, and margin goals.
• Cultivate customer insights through consultative discussions, while keeping an eye on market and competitive trends.
• Customize sales messaging, perform timely follow-up, and seize additional business and revenue opportunities.
• Ensure accurate records of accounts, customers, contacts, activities, results, and interactions are maintained in Salesforce and other sales management tools.
• Collaborate with AHP Strategic Account Managers and the National Accounts team on product access, launches, and team-oriented sales strategies.
• Generate ideas for future customer engagement and call activities.
• Review and analyze reports and data to gauge profitable product growth and develop sustaining strategies.
• Participate in internal company meetings as required.
• Assess and monitor internal product reports to stay informed on product supply and availability.
• Perform other related duties and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Comprehensive knowledge in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field, generally obtained through a four-year bachelor’s degree program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant and progressively responsible experience.
• Capacity to work hours that align with customers’ local time zones as required by business needs.
• Flexibility to adapt to daily shifts in products, procedures, and priorities.
• Proven ability to establish and sustain customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of sales management, sales planning, goal setting, and associated business information.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative relationship-building skills.
• Outstanding customer service and issue-resolution capabilities.
• Ability to analyze customer financial data and devise strategies to address financial considerations.
• Capacity to interpret industry trends and competitive insights and formulate responsive strategies and tactics.
• Strong creative problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, or similar software systems.
• Willingness to travel to conferences, trade events, sales meetings, and other business-related events as necessary.
• Prior experience in generic pharmaceutical or commodity sales is preferred.
