Inside Sales Representative – Fitness Education Certifications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Make 120–200 outbound calls each day to potential students from both warm and cold lists

• Engage in dynamic phone consultations to determine goals, establish rapport, and suggest training programs

• Oversee the sales pipeline with a CRM, maintaining thorough notes, tasks, and follow-up activities

• Close sales in brief cycles that range from the same day to 7 days using ethical persuasion and a student-first approach

• Consistently achieve or surpass monthly enrollment and revenue goals

• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to enhance scripts, objection handling, and conversion rates

• Uphold ISSA’s mission and brand with integrity and enthusiasm

• Direct prospective students towards suitable ISSA fitness education and certification programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of phone-based inside sales experience in a quota-driven setting

• Ability to maintain high activity levels of 120–200+ calls per day

• Experience with short-cycle or one-call closes from same day to 7 days

• Comfort in working shift-based schedules in a fully remote environment

• Excellent verbal communication skills, active listening, and empathy

• Proven history of meeting or exceeding individual sales targets

• Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable systems

• Capability to identify opportunities to utilize AI tools for increased efficiency and innovation

• Preferred: Experience in B2C or consumer-oriented B2B sales

• Preferred: Experience in outbound sales or lead follow-up campaigns

• Preferred: Interest in the fitness, health, or education sectors

• Preferred: Previous ISSA certification or exposure to the wellness industry

• Must reside in an ISSA-eligible state: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin
