Inside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily customer interactions, which include order entry, tracking, and providing responses to inquiries with suitable solutions.

• Work closely with account managers to enhance and sustain customer relationships.

• Manage order fulfillment in coordination with local business units to guarantee timely and accurate processing.

• Monitor orders and relay delivery updates to ensure on-time performance.

• Partner with product teams to create bids and proposals that meet customer specifications.

• Draft and amend proposal and contract documents, ensuring clarity in scope, terms, and cost information.

• Address customer issues and technical challenges, contributing to corrective measures and ongoing improvement.

• Implement change orders and assist in the collection of outstanding invoices.

• Ensure adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must possess work authorization allowing them to be employed by Hitachi Energy in the United States.

• At least three (3) years of experience in customer support within Industrial, EPC, Utility, or similar sectors; five (5) years is preferred.

• General understanding of Power Transmission & Distribution products/systems and Power Generation is preferred.

• Experience in business-to-business customer support is preferred.

• Proficient in CRM systems and web portals; familiarity with SAP and Salesforce (SFDC) is preferred.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Must be able to work and provide support for the West Coast of the United States.
