This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Act as a reliable technical advisor to HPE Networking Account Managers, Channel Partners, and customers throughout the sales process.
• Assist small and medium-sized enterprises in modernizing, securing, and simplifying their network infrastructure using HPE Networking solutions.
• Collaborate with account managers to formulate account strategies, qualify opportunities, and achieve technical victories within the assigned territory.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to identify customer business drivers, technical needs, and modernization objectives.
• Perform technical assessments, recognize gaps and risks, and outline solution strategies.
• Design and architect comprehensive HPE Networking solutions spanning campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and security domains.
• Propose solutions that align with customer business goals and modernization initiatives.
• Provide tailored technical presentations, product demonstrations, and virtual interactions.
• Assist in proposals, RFP/RFI responses, bills of materials, and solution documentation.
• Work in conjunction with senior engineers, architects, and specialists on intricate opportunities.
• Keep expertise updated across HPE Networking portfolios, including Juniper and Aruba.
• Remain informed about trends in AI-Ops, Zero Trust, NaaS, AI-driven networking, and campus fabric.
• Evaluate competing technologies and effectively communicate HPE's unique advantages.
• Enhance technical and industry knowledge through certifications and professional development.
• Over 5 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or a customer-facing technical position.
• Solid background in networking technologies, including campus, wireless, routing, and WAN.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust architectures.
• Consultative mindset for addressing customer challenges.
• Capability to lead discovery discussions and uncover technical requirements and strategic objectives.
• Proficiency in translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant value.
• Experience assisting customers in the evaluation and decision-making process for solutions.
• Practical experience in solution design and architecture.
• Ability to align solutions with customer environments.
• Competence in collaborating with account managers, architects, and specialists.
• Skill in managing multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, high-volume inside sales context.
• Excellent presentation, storytelling, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred industry certifications: Aruba ACA / ACP, Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet FCA/FCP, CWNA.
