
Inside Sales Account Manager, Onboarding IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Spearhead an exceptional onboarding process for new enterprise clients.
• Provide customized, high-touch onboarding experiences.
• Familiarize customers with their dedicated Connection team and the resources available to them.
• Showcase technology solutions, the customer portal, reporting functionalities, and self-service tools.
• Grasp customer business priorities, challenges, and strategic goals.
• Set up customer portals, standards, and purchasing workflows.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations.
• Assist Enterprise Account Executives with proactive sales initiatives.
• Create and manage customer quotes, including technically configured solutions.
• Uphold a four-hour response target for customer quote inquiries.
• Register opportunities and manage deal registrations with manufacturer partners.
• Follow up on proposals and sales prospects.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and addressing whitespace.
• Conduct spend analyses and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
• Maintain communication with customers, manufacturers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Present Quarterly Business Reviews and proactive account suggestions.
• Supervise daily account activities, order processing, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales Support to ensure order accuracy and meet shipment expectations.
• Assist with pricing reviews, order escalations, complex open-order management, and RMA escalations.
• Keep Salesforce opportunities up-to-date and accurate.
• Analyze customer activities and prepare business reports.
• Coordinate activities among Sales, Operations, Customer Support, and manufacturer partners.
• Mentor Inside Sales Support Representatives.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new Enterprise Account Executives through coaching and collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree or a suitable combination of education and professional experience.
• Strong background in customer service, sales support, account management, or inside sales.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Analytical thinker with robust problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

• Candidates should be adept at working independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams using virtual communication tools.
• Some flexibility in working hours may be necessary to support customers across various time zones.
• Travel of approximately 10–20% may be required.
