This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take full ownership of the inbound sales process from start to finish, which includes managing quote requests, advocating for teachers, and recognizing warm usage signals.
• Conduct discovery sessions and product demonstrations with teachers, principals, and curriculum directors via Zoom.
• Transform bottom-up adoption into agreements at the school and district levels.
• Navigate the procurement processes of schools and districts, including handling quotes, purchase orders, IT concerns, and privacy assessments.
• Proactively source a portion of the sales pipeline through outbound efforts and referrals.
• Oversee the sales pipeline, CRM, and sales forecasting activities.
• Develop sales materials such as promotional collateral, one-pagers, and email outreach sequences.
• Manage renewals, increase annual contract value (ACV), adjust pricing strategies, create multi-year agreements, and cross-sell related product lines.
• Broaden school contracts into district-wide agreements by identifying champions within various buildings.
• Generate customer referrals and facilitate warm introductions to new administrators.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships while ensuring successful onboarding for administrators.
• Collaborate with the customer success team to enhance training, product usage, and retention efforts.
• Aggregate feedback from administrators and teachers to guide the product development roadmap.
• Proven track record as a high-performing sales representative with a history of surpassing sales targets.
• 2–6+ years of experience in SaaS sales, specifically within EdTech, targeting principals or district administrators.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with numerous conversations and active deals, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Exceptional communication skills on Zoom and over the phone, with the ability to write clearly and succinctly.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to excel with autonomy in a startup atmosphere.
• Ambitious, resourceful, driven, and comfortable navigating ambiguous selling situations.

• Experience in high-velocity inside sales with short sales cycles and multiple closures each month.
• Previous experience as an English teacher (1+ year) or in school administration (principal, assistant principal, curriculum specialist, or Director of Curriculum).
• Familiarity with selling to US K-12 Directors of Curriculum.
• Prior employment at K-12 SaaS companies such as Nearpod, Newsela, Pear Deck, Edpuzzle, Writable, NoRedInk, Seesaw, ClassDojo, Brisk Teaching, SchoolAI, MagicSchool AI, Khanmigo, Diffit, Formative, Quizizz, or Kami.
