This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Lead the design and development activities of railway interior systems utilizing 3D CAD tools.
• Coordinate technical teams by planning activities and managing the distribution of workloads.
• Oversee and technically review designs created by other team members.
• Validate 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation associated with various interior design packages.
• Manage technical information and project documentation within PLM and PDM environments.
• Coordinate the development and integration of interior design elements, ensuring compliance with functional, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
• Act as a technical liaison with various areas involved in the project.
• Identify technical risks and propose actions to minimize deviations in quality, timelines, and costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes, document management, and working methodologies.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in railway interior design projects.
• Proven experience in underground structures, floors, coverings, and stairs.
• Demonstrable experience in interior paneling.
• Demonstrable experience in seats and tables.
• Demonstrable experience in luggage racks and storage elements.
• Demonstrable experience in insulation systems.
• Demonstrable experience in auxiliary devices and interior equipment.
• Demonstrable experience in air distribution, intake, and evacuation systems.
• Demonstrable experience in restroom modules.
• Demonstrable experience in water tanks and associated accessories.
• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Experience working in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) environments.
• Experience in document and configuration management using PLM/PDM tools.
• Experience in workload estimation and planning of technical activities.
• Ability to coordinate teams and technically supervise engineering deliverables.
• Minimum English level of B2.
• Experience in high-complexity international railway projects is desirable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and the industrialization of rolling stock is a plus.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary integration in concurrent engineering environments is a plus.
• Certifications related to mechanical design, project management, or engineering methodologies are desirable.
