Ingeniero de Estructuras – Especialista en Viaductos Mixtos y Puentes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, calculate, and size mixed steel-concrete bridges and viaducts.

• Model structures using matrix calculation programs and finite element analysis.

• Calculate mixed decks, particularly structures with box-type sections.

• Analyze the various construction phases of the structure.

• Study the delayed effects of concrete: creep, shrinkage, and rheological evolution.

• Analyze concrete pouring sequences and the structural behavior during execution.

• Verify and justify structures according to Eurocodes EC-2, EC-3, and EC-4, as well as the Structural Code.

• Develop checks for sections, connections, and structural details.

• Prepare calculation appendices and technical documentation for execution projects.

• Review and validate calculation results.

• Technically coordinate with other project specialists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Roads, Canals, and Ports, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering structure calculation.

• Proven experience in bridge and/or viaduct projects.

• Solid knowledge of mixed steel and concrete structures.

• Experience working with European and Spanish structural regulations.

• Familiarity with SOFiSTik, MIDAS Civil, SAP2000, and Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis is a plus.

• High level of technical autonomy and ability to analyze and resolve complex structural problems.
