Infrastructure Architect – Cloud and Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance enterprise infrastructure architectures for hybrid and multicloud settings.

• Facilitate cloud adoption, evolution, and migration strategies.

• Establish architectural standards for Microsoft Azure and AWS.

• Assist in the definition and advancement of Landing Zones.

• Develop guidelines for multicloud architectures.

• Aid Cloud Governance and FinOps initiatives.

• Create architectures and standards for OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Support the advancement of enterprise virtualization environments, including Nutanix and VMware.

• Formulate strategies for Infrastructure as Code and standards for Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and ArgoCD.

• Design architectures focused on high availability and resilience.

• Assist with Disaster Recovery, Corporate Backup, Capacity Planning, and Business Continuity strategies.

• Establish guidelines for infrastructure observability and support the implementation of Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Zabbix.

• Encourage integration between on-premises and cloud environments.

• Support infrastructure platform automation and evolution initiatives.

• Prepare and review architectural documents, standards, models, and artifacts.

• Assess solutions based on architecture, scalability, availability, security, resilience, and operational efficiency.

• Act in a consultative role with infrastructure, cloud, and platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential knowledge of Cloud Computing, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Landing Zones, multicloud architectures, FinOps, and Cloud Governance.

• Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Nutanix, VMware, and enterprise virtualization.

• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and ArgoCD.

• Knowledge of high availability, Disaster Recovery, corporate backup, Capacity Planning, and Business Continuity.

• Understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Zabbix.

• Experience in defining architectures for hybrid environments.

• Background in cloud migration projects.

• Experience in the architecture and operation of enterprise OpenShift environments.

• Experience with infrastructure governance.

• Proven experience integrating on-premises and cloud environments.

• Experience with observability- and automation-oriented architectures.

• Background in projects involving multicloud environments.

• Experience with high-availability and business continuity strategies.

• Proven experience automating and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.

• Preferred: experience in large-scale enterprise environments, Azure and AWS, OpenShift/Kubernetes, FinOps, Cloud Governance, Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, ArgoCD, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, automation, and observability.
