Information Request Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Update patient accounts with information obtained from hospitals.

• Follow up with Contact Specialists.

• Access client connections and computer systems to gather information necessary for updating accounts.

• Monitor requests to ensure they do not exceed the required timeframe.

• Execute special projects or assigned tasks.

• Assist IT in resolving access issues.

• Deliver high-level service to ensure timely resolution of client accounts.

• Serve as a liaison between claims representatives and providers.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Proven high-level customer service skills for both external and internal customers.

• Capability to work independently and follow through with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn client and Operations processes.

• Accuracy in work with a strong focus on detail.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Ability to operate effectively with minimal oversight.

• Proficient in Excel and Word is required.

• Capability to gain proficiency with various hospital databases.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and internal applications.

• Strong computer navigation skills.

• Experience using multiple software programs simultaneously.

• Must reside in the United States within one of the specified states.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

• Successful verification of employment history and background check.

• Ability to work in a quiet, distraction-free home environment.

• Secure internet connection with download speeds exceeding 20 Mbps and upload speeds over 10 Mbps.

• Capability to accommodate workstation equipment and materials in the workspace.

• Ability to maintain full attention during scheduled work hours.

• Active participation on camera is required.
