Information Request Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Update patient accounts utilizing information obtained from hospitals.

• Follow up with Contact Specialists as necessary.

• Access client connections and computer systems to retrieve account information.

• Monitor requests to ensure they are addressed within the required timeframe.

• Execute special projects or tasks as assigned.

• Assist the IT department in resolving access issues.

• Act as a liaison between claims representatives and providers.

• Ensure the timely resolution of client accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional and effective manner.

• Proven customer service skills for both external and internal clients.

• Capacity to work independently and follow through with minimal guidance.

• Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, client and Operations processes.

• Ability to produce precise work with a focus on detail.

• Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and setting priorities based on situational demands.

• Working knowledge of Excel and Word is required.

• Ability to gain proficiency with various hospital databases.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and internal applications.

• Strong skills in computer navigation.

• Experience in using multiple software programs simultaneously.

• A quiet, distraction-free home work environment is necessary.

• Secure internet connection with download speeds exceeding 20 Mbps and upload speeds above 10 Mbps.

• Must reside in the United States within an approved state.

• Employment eligibility in the United States is required.

• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
