Informatica Common Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows using Informatica.

• Configure and manage the Informatica domain, repository, and integration services.

• Oversee scheduled jobs, addressing failures and data errors as they arise.

• Optimize integration jobs for both performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with data owners to establish source-to-target mappings and business rules.

• Assist with upgrades, patches, and environment migrations.

• Document integration designs, schedules, and support procedures thoroughly.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.

• Proficiency in Informatica administration and common services.

• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, Db2, or similar databases.

• Familiarity with UNIX or Linux scripting and job scheduling.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Regular use of common office equipment, including computers, phones, scanners, and printers.

• Informatica certification is preferred.

• Experience with data warehousing and data quality tools is advantageous.

• Background in supporting federal government contracts is preferred.
