Industry Strategy Manager, Digital Project Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Contribute to Autodesk’s vision and strategy for digital project delivery by conducting research on the market, competitors, and customers.

• Lead cross-functional programs that take data management initiatives from strategy to launch.

• Convert ISO 19650 information management practices into product requirements and market-facing positioning.

• Develop business cases for sales channels, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, as well as executive briefings.

• Convey customer value propositions and workflow requirements to product teams.

• Act as the customer advocate on pricing, packaging, positioning, and business models.

• Track business performance metrics, usage, adoption rates, customer acquisition, and retention.

• Modify go-to-market strategies based on business performance insights.

• Create and sustain the data management growth business plan, including adoption strategies, expansion initiatives, and customer migration pathways.

• Collaborate with sales to develop success plans, sales strategies, and tools.

• Assist in marketing execution and content development.

• Represent Autodesk at industry organizations and events, including those focused on data standards and information management.

• Serve as a liaison for industry specialists, research analysts, the press, and other third parties.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Platform, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS, BEng) or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in the AEC industry, or in roles related to strategy, product management, consulting, or go-to-market functions serving the industry.

• Proven experience with information management at the project or program level.

• Familiarity with ISO 19650 as applied in projects.

• Working knowledge of AEC data standards and interoperability, including how information requirements are defined and verified.

• Experience with cloud-based design, collaboration, and management tools aimed at architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.

• Willingness to travel, including internationally.

• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

• Experience in implementing ISO 19650 processes.

• Experience managing Common Data Environments (CDE), project information, industry data standards, and overseeing data governance and quality.

• Preferred: MBA.

• Preferred: Understanding of the cloud and SaaS technology and business landscape.

• Preferred: Outstanding customer/market research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred: Experience in building business cases and forecasts for a product or portfolio, along with reporting results to senior leadership.
