Industry Strategy Manager, Digital Project Delivery

📋 Description

• Contribute to Autodesk’s vision and strategy for digital project delivery by conducting internal and external research on the market, competitors, and customers.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives, managing data management projects from strategy formulation to launch.

• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams to align on shared plans and timelines.

• Translate ISO 19650 information management practices into product specifications and market-oriented positioning.

• Develop business cases for sales channels, partnerships, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

• Prepare executive briefings for stakeholders.

• Articulate customer value propositions and workflow requirements to product teams.

• Advocate for the customer perspective regarding pricing, packaging, positioning, and business models.

• Monitor business performance metrics, such as usage, adoption, customer acquisition, and retention.

• Modify go-to-market strategies based on business performance insights.

• Construct and manage the data management growth business plan, outlining paths for adoption, expansion, and customer migration.

• Collaborate with sales teams to create success plans, sales strategies, and tools.

• Assist in marketing execution and content creation.

• Represent Autodesk at industry organizations and events, including those focused on data standards and information management.

• Act as a liaison for industry specialists, research analysts, key press, and other external parties.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Platform, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS, BEng, or an equivalent degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in the AEC industry, or in strategy, product management, consulting, or go-to-market roles within the industry.

• Proven experience with information management on a project or programme scale.

• Familiarity with ISO 19650, applied in project settings.

• Working knowledge of AEC data standards and interoperability, including the definition and validation of information requirements.

• Experience with cloud-based design, collaboration, and management tools aimed at architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.

• Willingness to travel, including internationally.

• Understanding of the cloud and SaaS technology landscape.

• Experience in building business cases and forecasts for a product or portfolio, along with reporting results to senior leadership.

• MBA is preferred.

• Exceptional skills in customer/market research, analytics, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving.
