This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and implement industry strategies and go-to-market growth initiatives for digital project delivery in Autodesk Forma.
• Perform market opportunity assessments, create customer value propositions, conduct competitive analyses, devise partnership strategies, analyze target audiences, and develop business models.
• Contribute to Autodesk’s vision and strategy for digital project delivery through comprehensive internal and external research on the market, competitors, and customers.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy formulation to launch, ensuring coordination among teams based on shared objectives and timelines.
• Formulate strategies for design management, including planning deliverables, measuring progress, and forecasting outcomes.
• Assist in the regionalization of offerings by overseeing packaging, positioning, compliance requirements, and public-owner purchasing processes.
• Convert project team workflows into product requirements, value propositions, market positioning, pricing strategies, packaging, and business models.
• Develop business cases for sales channels, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions, along with executive briefings.
• Track usage, adoption, customer acquisition, retention, and go-to-market performance metrics.
• Construct and sustain the digital project delivery growth plan, encompassing adoption, expansion, and customer migration pathways.
• Create sales strategies and tools while supporting the execution of marketing content.
• Represent Autodesk at industry events, organizations, and engage with industry specialists, research analysts, the press, and other third parties.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (BS, BArch, BEng or equivalent).
• Over 8 years of experience in the AEC industry, or in strategy, product management, consulting, or go-to-market roles serving the sector.
• Proven experience in delivering projects across various disciplines, including design collaboration and coordination among firms.
• Experience in planning or managing design production at project or program levels, including deliverables, scheduling, progress measurement, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 information workflows and the processes for defining and validating information requirements.
• Experience with cloud-based design, collaboration, and management tools aimed at architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.
• Willingness to travel, including internationally.
• Knowledge of BIM.
• Preferred: MBA.
• Preferred: Understanding of cloud and SaaS technology and business environments.
• Preferred: Experience with US public sector owners, public procurement, and contract vehicles.
• Preferred: Familiarity with ERP and project controls data.
• Preferred: A track record of research that has influenced decision-making.
• Preferred: Experience in constructing business cases, forecasts, and reporting results to senior leadership.
