Industry Principal – Oil & Gas

• Lead and spearhead strategic initiatives within the designated industry vertical.

• Offer thought leadership and in-depth industry insights.

• Evaluate market trends, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape.

• Formulate and execute industry-specific strategies.

• Identify and actively pursue business opportunities within the sector.

• Cultivate relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.

• Assist sales teams by providing industry-specific knowledge to enhance sales growth.

• Guide the development of the industry offer strategy to shape 3-year product roadmap opportunities.

• Ensure that solutions align with industry standards and meet customer expectations.

• Advocate for enhancements and features specific to industry products.

• Collaborate with marketing to create industry-targeted campaigns.

• Represent Seeq at industry-related events, conferences, and webinars.

• Create and deliver presentations along with thought leadership content.

• Oversee the industry track and foster customer engagement at Seeq’s Conneqt conference.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with executive stakeholders at customer accounts.

• Engage with customers to comprehend their needs and challenges.

• Provide consultancy and advisory services to key client accounts.

• Collect customer feedback to influence product development and strategic direction.

• Work in conjunction with sales and marketing teams to discover opportunities and formulate go-to-market strategies.

• Enhance Seeq’s market presence and drive business expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.

• Demonstrated success within the specified industry.

• Strong business insight and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively across various functions and teams.

• Over 15 years of industry experience in oil and gas companies or technology providers in the sector.

• Profound understanding of oil and gas regulatory requirements in North America and Europe.

• Solid knowledge of operational use cases in the oil and gas sector.

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a software or technology solutions context.

• Experience in data analytics, AI, or industrial IoT technologies relevant to oil and gas is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Seeq's capabilities or similar industrial analytics platforms is advantageous.

• Previous experience in managing, deploying, or supporting enterprise technology solutions is preferable.

• Effective communication and presentation skills, particularly for executive levels internally and directly to customers, as well as at company-sponsored events.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and support other departments.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to maintain high engagement levels in a remote setting while collaborating with teams across all time zones.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term objectives.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to build relationships.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Passion for fostering innovation and addressing complex challenges in the oil and gas industry.

• Willingness to travel at least 15%, including internationally.
