📋 Description

• Execute project-based assignments and provide operational assistance at both the system and facility levels.

• Advance high-value performance opportunities that are in line with Wellstar's strategic objectives.

• Assess, develop, and enhance healthcare processes and operations.

• Lead designated process improvement projects, conduct data analyses, and facilitate discussions.

• Engage in the development, coordination, and management of evidence-based practice process improvement initiatives and activities.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project sponsors, and project managers to ensure the realization of benefits.

• Set project goals, anticipated benefits, timelines, and key milestones in partnership with directors and business owners.

• Steer projects to completion with direction from Industrial Engineering personnel.

• Work together with industrial engineering resources, performance improvement teams, and EPMO members on designing current-to-future states, managing change, planning implementation, simulation, and statistical modeling.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of experience, with a minimum of one year completed in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering at an accredited university.

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Genuine interest in pursuing an industrial engineering role within the healthcare sector.

• Familiarity with essential process improvement methodologies and tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Experience with statistical analysis and simulation software is advantageous.

• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Adherence to Wellstar Health System's policies, work standards, and code of conduct.
