This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +9 more locations.
• Provide support to customers in the U.S. and Canada by assisting with the installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of advanced municipal water treatment systems.
• Travel to customer locations for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of municipal water treatment equipment and systems.
• Work with sophisticated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams, and internal support groups to achieve safe and successful project outcomes.
• Conduct field service tasks at customer sites across the U.S. and Canada, typically from Tuesday to Thursday.
• Generally travel on Mondays and Fridays.
• Facilitate customer training sessions and clearly convey technical information.
• Proven experience in servicing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and industrial control systems in industrial, manufacturing, or municipal settings.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, control panels, and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment, VFDs, conduit, grounding, and three-phase electrical systems.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, control panel wiring, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, network troubleshooting, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
• Experience with instrumentation, including flow meters, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, and temperature sensors.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Capability to perform equipment startup, commissioning, functional testing, and preventative maintenance.
• Experience with pumps, pumping systems, instrumentation, or water/wastewater equipment is highly regarded.
• Comfortable in conducting customer training sessions and effectively communicating technical information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple customer locations and priorities.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) policies.
• Experience with ServiceMax is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for travel within the U.S. and Canada.
• Willingness to travel more than 75% of the time across the U.S. and Canada.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work around operating industrial equipment as necessary.
