📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive category management for Creative, Media Buying, PR, Public Affairs, and Experiential/Event Marketing.

• Conduct intricate negotiations for agency retainers and project-based assignments.

• Develop outcome-oriented commercial frameworks while ensuring rigorous IP and brand safeguarding.

• Provide guidance to Marketing, Communications, and Policy leaders on procurement best practices.

• Manage complete RFX processes for significant Agency of Record consolidations.

• Formulate multi-year category strategies to enhance value creation and optimize total cost of ownership.

• Negotiate and draft Master Services Agreements along with Statements of Work.

• Reduce business risks by prioritizing media transparency, usage rights, and liability limits for publicly visible outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years of procurement experience.

• At least 4 years concentrating significantly on sourcing for Marketing, Communications, PR, or Public Affairs.

• Profound understanding of marketing procurement intricacies, including agency fee structures, media buying transparency, and creative production expenses.

• Demonstrated capability to negotiate complex IP, usage rights, and indemnification provisions within creative and PR agreements.

• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence and establish trust with highly creative marketing leaders and public affairs executives.

• Experience in the autonomous vehicle, rideshare, or fast-growing tech industries is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred, along with equivalent education and work experience.

• Previous experience working directly within an advertising or PR agency in an account or commercial capacity is preferred.

• Capability to work remotely from an approved US location.
