This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Recognize, cultivate, and pursue new business prospects within the Canadian automotive plastic injection molding industry.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, Tier 2 suppliers, injection molders, tooling companies, and other pertinent industry collaborators.
β’ Utilize existing industry connections and forge new relationships to grow SyBridge Technologies' customer base.
β’ Advocate for SyBridge Technologies' plastic injection molding, tooling, engineering, manufacturing, and associated capabilities.
β’ Detect customer programs, sourcing possibilities, new platforms, tooling needs, and production chances early in the sales process.
β’ Create qualified leads and sustain an active pipeline of potential automotive business opportunities.
β’ Collaborate with internal estimating, engineering, operations, program management, and commercial teams to assess opportunities.
β’ Aid in the preparation and presentation of proposals, quotations, capability presentations, and customer solutions.
β’ Assist with commercial negotiations concerning pricing, scope, timing, tooling, production volumes, and customer specifications.
β’ Grasp customer requirements and propose solutions that align with SyBridge Technologies' capabilities.
β’ Maintain consistent communication with prospective and existing customers throughout the sales journey.
β’ Provide market insights on competitors, customer activities, automotive programs, industry trends, sourcing endeavors, and emerging opportunities.
β’ Attend customer meetings, industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities as necessary.
β’ Deliver accurate updates on sales activities, pipeline, and opportunities as required.
β’ A minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development, technical sales, account management, or commercial roles within automotive plastic injection molding, tooling, plastics manufacturing, or a closely related field.
β’ Established connections within the Canadian automotive manufacturing sector are highly preferred.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, tooling, mold manufacturing, production requirements, and automotive program lifecycles.
β’ Proven experience selling to automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, Tier 2 suppliers, or automotive injection molding firms.
β’ Demonstrated capability to independently generate leads and cultivate new customer relationships.
β’ Strong understanding of RFQ, quoting, sourcing, and commercial negotiation processes.
β’ Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
β’ Capacity to comprehend technical manufacturing requirements and communicate effectively with engineering, tooling, operations, and purchasing professionals.
β’ Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify lucrative business opportunities.
β’ Self-sufficient ability to manage sales activities, customer relationships, and travel obligations.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel throughout Canada and internationally as necessary.
β’ Existing network within Ontario's automotive manufacturing corridor is considered a significant advantage.
β’ Independent contractor responsible for business registrations, insurance, tax obligations, and related responsibilities.
