This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Oversee incoming Pano360 smoke alerts during designated shifts
• Evaluate incidents based on camera footage, location, proximity to customer assets, weather conditions, topography, fuels, fire behavior, and potential spread
• Identify which incidents pose significant threats to customers
• Generate clear, actionable alerts for customers through established workflows, aiming for assessment and alert completion within five minutes
• Travel to active or developing incidents to assist with Pano’s Rapid Deploy System
• Operate from incident command posts while deploying and managing mobile equipment
• Provide training for firefighters, government agencies, and other end-users
• Build relationships with local fire departments, emergency management agencies, and community stakeholders
• Lead outreach efforts, onboarding, training, and continuous engagement
• Recognize trends, conduct self-audits, and suggest process enhancements
• Relay field and end-user feedback to Product, Customer Success, Operations, and Sales teams
• Assist in refining alert criteria, workflows, and overall customer experience
• Candidates should ideally be located within the U.S. Central or Eastern Time Zones
• Practical wildland firefighting experience, complemented by either wildland fire dispatch experience or expertise in applying wildfire science, technology, intelligence, GIS, or similar tools in an operational wildfire setting
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Wildfire, Forestry, and Disaster Management roles
• At least 2 years of professional experience in training and development, sales/marketing, customer success/support, operations, or project management
• Strong preference for experience with Federal wildland fire or state fire agencies
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 20% of the time
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational capabilities and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to maintain composure, professionalism, and a methodical approach in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
• Proficient in Google Workspace and quick to learn new tools and systems
• Alignment with Pano AI’s mission and a sense of empathy for communities and stakeholders
• Capability to work a shift-based schedule that covers Mountain Time daylight hours
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–20%, including to active wildfire response areas
