This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Map existing workflows related to the administration, calculation, approvals, and payouts of incentive compensation plans.
• Identify and prioritize process steps that are manual, repetitive, or prone to errors.
• Design and develop automated workflows, integrations, and tools for data extraction, reconciliations, approval routing, and exception handling.
• Own and configure instances of Xactly ICM, including Incent and Connect.
• Set up calculation rules, plan logic, and workflows within the Xactly system.
• Identify and implement AI tools and LLM-driven agents for tasks such as exception detection, data reconciliation, plan document review, and addressing common compensation inquiries.
• Collaborate with teams in Incentive Compensation, Finance & Strategy, People Ops, Revenue Operations, and IT/Data on system integration initiatives.
• Establish documentation, standard operating procedures, and controls to systematize processes.
• Develop a repeatable cadence for continuous improvement aimed at phasing out manual tasks.
• Convert incentive compensation process requirements into system specifications and translate system limitations into actionable recommendations.
• Respond to urgent ad-hoc requests during payout cycles while also focusing on long-term solutions.
• Report to the Senior Manager of Incentive Compensation.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in incentive compensation, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related role focused on systems or process improvement.
• Experience in a dynamic technology or SaaS environment is highly desirable.
• Proven history of improving manual, flawed, or inefficient processes by developing effective solutions.
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to query and reconcile data across various systems.
• Practical experience in building automated workflows using scripting, workflow/RPA platforms, or ICM systems like Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Varicent, or SPIFF platforms.
• Ability to implement lightweight tools or integrations when standard solutions do not meet requirements.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HRIS, data warehouses like BigQuery, and compensation management platforms such as Xactly.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to convert operational needs into system requirements and process modifications.
• Understanding of quotas, accelerators, SPIFFs, and payout schedules.
• Experience in a rapidly growing SaaS, cloud, or open-source organization is preferred.
• Successful track record in globally distributed, remote-first companies across multiple time zones is a plus.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) server ingestion or AI capabilities/agents for automating incentive compensation is an added advantage.
