In-House Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Address employment law issues across various countries.

• Provide legal support to internal units and departments.

• Assist in the organization's growth and expansion into new international markets.

• Ensure compliance of company operations with local regulations.

• Serve as an active legal project manager collaborating with the business.

• Work closely with Operations, Sales, internal teams, local payroll providers, and law firms.

• Produce high-quality, client-focused legal work that aligns with broader business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Spanish lawyer, registered with the bar in Spain.

• Proficient in Spanish employment law.

• Background in a law firm or the legal department of a company/startup; experience in both is preferable.

• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.

• Native Spanish speaker.

• Fluent in business and legal English, both written and spoken.

• Strong legal and business acumen, with a focus on solutions.

• Familiarity with employment law in other jurisdictions, such as Portugal (preferred).

• Understanding of data protection law/GDPR (preferred).

• Experience in drafting and negotiating sales contracts (preferred).

• Proficiency in additional languages like Portuguese, French, Italian, or German (preferred).
