This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the legal operations, technology enablement, process optimization, and contracting infrastructure at Telix.
β’ Manage legal intake/routing, matter management, contract playbooks, template libraries, knowledge management, and tools for self-service business needs.
β’ Spearhead AI-enhanced legal workflows, agent design, prompt libraries, and AI-assisted contract review/drafting while ensuring human oversight and privacy/security protocols.
β’ Convert legal operations needs into detailed system specifications, user stories, workflows, and integration requirements.
β’ Collaborate with Information Technology and vendors throughout the phases of requirements gathering, design, testing, user acceptance testing, and production implementation.
β’ Take charge of legal operations metrics and KPI reporting, which includes contract cycle time, outside-counsel expenditure, contracting throughput, self-service adoption, and satisfaction metrics.
β’ Implement and oversee e-billing, matter taxonomy, outside-counsel guidelines, spend reporting, and budget forecasting.
β’ Lead change management and organizational adoption initiatives, which encompass communications, training, feedback loops, and tracking of adoption rates.
β’ Develop a scalable contracting infrastructure and enhance high-volume commercial and procurement contracting processes.
β’ Supervise legal technology vendors, budgets, business cases, and return-on-investment analyses.
β’ Manage and mentor the Legal Operations Specialist in the United States.
β’ Coordinate cross-functional legal operations with the Legal Governance & Operations Specialist based in Australia.
β’ Collaborate with Procurement, Information Technology, Finance, Commercial Operations, and various business stakeholders.
β’ Assist in contract negotiations and commercial contracting for procurement and operational issues.
β’ Own the strategy for legal enablement and establish benchmarks for adoption as well as change management plans.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of combined experience in legal practice and/or leadership in legal operations.
β’ Strong background in legal processes and technology is essential.
β’ Preferably, prior in-house experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare sectors.
β’ Proven experience with the architecture of Contract Lifecycle Management platforms and enterprise system integrations.
β’ Experience working closely with Information Technology teams through requirements definition, design, user acceptance testing, and production rollout.
β’ Demonstrated familiarity with e-billing systems, AI/legal technology tools, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, and process/change management.
β’ Experience in people management is required.
β’ Direct experience in negotiating or reviewing enterprise-level commercial agreements is preferred.
β’ Budgeting and forecasting experience related to technology or operations initiatives is desirable.
β’ Project management certification (PMP, Agile/Scrum) or equivalent experience is a plus.
