In-House Lawyer, Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Continuous evaluation of all legally pertinent documents and processes involved in daily operations

• Legal examination and endorsement of offers, website content, legal notices, Terms and Conditions, and invoice language

• Primary contact for all partners concerning legal matters and inquiries

• Oversight and legal evaluation of Trustpilot reviews, including the management of critical or legally significant reviews

• Legal assessment and management of cease-and-desist letters and out-of-court disputes related to marketing, sales, and outreach initiatives

• Review and legal safeguarding of employment agreements

• Examination and negotiation of NDAs (non-disclosure agreements)

• Ensuring legal protection for partners, portfolio companies, and internal procedures at Yunicorn Ventures

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed law degree, preferably with a concentration in commercial or corporate law

• Specialization in or substantial experience with international law; alternatively, a well-established international network or relevant contacts

• Proven experience in reviewing contracts, Terms and Conditions, NDAs, and legal content for websites

• Independent, organized, and solution-focused approach to work

• Excellent communication skills when engaging with various internal and external stakeholders

• Proficient in both German and English, with strong negotiation capabilities in both languages

• High attention to detail and quality standards

• Aptitude for numerical analysis and critical thinking

• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive hands-on mentality

• Ability to identify issues early and act accordingly

• Excellent organizational and structuring abilities

• Discretion in managing sensitive information
