In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health assessments for members in their residences.

• Primarily travel within a designated coverage area, which may involve overnight stays, car rentals, and/or flights.

• Establish trusted relationships to enhance health outcomes.

• Perform visits lasting approximately 45 minutes each.

• Review patients' medications and medical histories.

• Carry out physical evaluations.

• Conduct additional diagnostic tests as required, such as diabetic eye exams and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and a user-friendly clinical workflow for evaluations.

• Conduct virtual visits when necessary.

• Deliver Diagnostic & Preventive Services, including spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings.

• Travel locally and within licensed states.

• Meet health plan members at their private residences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the coverage area, as necessary.

• Possess an MD or DO degree.

• Able to safely perform duties in homes that may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other possible airborne allergens or irritants.

• Willingness and ability to travel locally and within licensed states, up to 100% of the time.

• Competent to conduct virtual visits as needed.

• Expected to work approximately 40 hours per week.
