Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the growth, effectiveness, and profitability of Operating Room installation projects in the designated region.

• Spearhead regional initiatives to guarantee timely and precise Operating Room installations.

• Ensure collaboration with service and deployment teams.

• Partner with sales in developing proposals and providing accurate estimates.

• Collaborate on a monthly basis with sales concerning customer deliverables and gross-profit implications.

• Assist with business development requirements for sales and marketing as necessary.

• Maintain a high level of expertise in the integration product portfolio.

• Complete the assigned OR1 training and seek additional training opportunities externally.

• Exhibit technical expertise through successful installations with minimal warranty-related service tickets and low project change orders.

• Comprehend hospital construction and retain proficiency in cable management and termination.

• Facilitate project-planning meetings and oversee project timelines to achieve deadlines.

• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

• Supervise the documentation for incoming and outgoing projects.

• Develop risk-mitigation strategies for each project.

• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with national Customer Success KPI standards.

• Provide top-notch installation experiences through clear and documented communication.

• Track, gather, and report on customer feedback following installations.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively address negative feedback.

• Deliver timely and thorough customer training, documenting product usage post-installation.

• Report to the Customer Success Regional or National Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in consulting, project delivery, or project management.

• 5–7 years of experience in a position requiring technical knowledge in AV or IP.

• Experience in field-based project and program-level management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.

• Clean driving record.

• Ability to work around hospital personnel, sensitive medical equipment, and patients.

• Position is safety-sensitive.

• Knowledge and experience in the medical device and/or healthcare market is advantageous.

• Comprehensive understanding of cable terminations and handling, including cable pull, solder, crimp, compression, and punch-down connections.

• Thorough understanding of various cable media, including Coax, Mini-Hi-Res, Copper, Multi-Conductor, CAT-5/6, and Fiber Optic.

• Advanced knowledge of control systems, power amplifiers, digital signal processors, video matrix switchers, video scalers, PC interfaces, computer controls, and digital video recorders.

• Exceptional personal leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Effective multitasking skills.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and improve project/process outcomes.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

• Most field-based roles necessitate hospital credentialing/health screenings, which may include required vaccinations and other customer specifications.
