Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and support to customers in integrating Fingerprint APIs into their web and mobile applications.

• Collaborate with the development team throughout the customer onboarding and integration processes.

• Act as the main technical liaison for customers.

• Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and offer technical solutions.

• Analyze internal logs to diagnose and resolve customer-related problems.

• Proactively monitor API usage and performance.

• Generate JavaScript code snippets and customized integration suggestions.

• Create automation scripts for API testing, validation, and monitoring tasks.

• Conduct training sessions and webinars for customers.

• Develop and maintain documentation aimed at customers.

• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure their success with the API product.

• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to onboard, retain, and expand the customer base.

• Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to the product development team to enhance product offerings.

• Directly report to the Customer Success Engineer Team Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 3–6 years of experience in a customer-facing position, ideally as a Customer Success Engineer or Technical Support Engineer with a focus on API products.

• Strong command of JavaScript with the capability to create and maintain automation scripts.

• Comprehensive understanding of API concepts, RESTful architecture, and web services.

• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in using macOS.

• Comfortable working fully remotely with tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom.

• Must be authorized to work from the home location.

• Previous experience with API testing tools/frameworks, mobile app development, and SQL is advantageous.

• Preference for candidates based in the UK area; travel may be necessary for client site visits.
