This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achieve or surpass sales and expense objectives for the territory by crafting and executing tailored strategies.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare practitioners.
• Stay informed about company offerings and pertinent disease states.
• Create territory business plans, organize workdays and weeks, set up call strategies, and prepare thoroughly for sales meetings.
• Develop and carry out territory initiatives, including speakers’ bureaus and symposiums.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive customer records.
• Accurately and promptly complete administrative responsibilities.
• Deliver effective and precise sales presentations to clients.
• Maintain a professional sales demeanor in all business interactions.
• Conduct operations within the assigned sales territory in line with regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s Degree and over 3 years of experience in Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology, or related therapeutic fields.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with more than 5 years of successful, demonstrable pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent experience.
• Alternatively, over 7 years of successful, demonstrable pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent experience.
• Preference for candidates with current experience in the territory and familiarity with the customer base.
• Preferred experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Local travel is necessary; some overnight travel may be required, varying by region.
• Strong sales abilities and capacity to generate new business while enhancing customer relationships.
• In-depth clinical and disease-state knowledge.
• Business insight regarding industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics.
• Proficient in communicating accurately, succinctly, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Capability to identify resources and address challenges using available information and support resources.
