This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Achieve or surpass sales and expense objectives for the territory by crafting and executing territory-specific strategies.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and physicians.
• Stay informed about company products and associated disease states.
• Create and implement a Territory Business Plan, along with workday and weekly plans, call strategies, and preparation for sales calls.
• Develop and execute territory initiatives such as speakers’ bureaus and symposiums.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive customer records.
• Accurately complete administrative tasks within designated timelines.
• Provide effective, accurate, and engaging sales presentations to clients.
• Uphold a professional sales image in all business interactions.
• Manage the assigned sales territory in accordance with regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s Degree and over 3 years of experience in Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology, or a related field.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with more than 5 years of experience, or over 7 years of successful, proven pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent experience in a specified therapeutic area.
• Proven track record as a top performer.
• Excellent clinical selling abilities.
• In-depth clinical and disease-state knowledge.
• Awareness of industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics.
• Capability to generate new business and enhance existing customer relationships.
• Proficient in communicating accurately, succinctly, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to identify and utilize available resources for problem-solving.
• Preferred: current experience within the territory and familiarity with customers.
• Preferred: experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Willingness to engage in local travel and some overnight travel as necessary.
