This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Achieve or surpass the sales and expense plan goals for the territory by creating and executing territory-specific strategies.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders and physicians.
• Keep up-to-date with the company's products and relevant disease states.
• Formulate territory business plans, organize workdays and weeks, create call plans, and prepare for sales meetings.
• Create and execute territory initiatives such as speakers’ bureaus and symposia.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive customer records.
• Accurately complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Deliver effective and accurate sales presentations to clients.
• Maintain a professional sales image in all business interactions.
• Manage the assigned sales territory in accordance with regulations, Pharma guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• A Bachelor’s Degree with over 3 years of experience in Ophthalmology or Neurology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with more than 5 years of experience, or over 7 years of proven success in pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent roles within the specified therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record as a top performer.
• Exceptional clinical selling abilities.
• Strong knowledge of clinical practices and disease states.
• Awareness of industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics.
• Capability to cultivate new business and enhance existing customer relationships.
• Proficient in communicating clearly, concisely, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to identify and leverage available information and support resources.
• Preferably possess current territory experience and customer insights.
• Experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas is preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Willingness to travel locally, with some overnight travel necessary.
